Introducing: Brian van ’t Hoenderdaal, Junior Project Manager Niron Staal

Brian recently celebrated his birthday. However, at 29 years old he is still the youngest member of the Niron Staal team.

As a married father of two, Brian van ‘t Hoenderdaal can count numerous achievements in his young life. Before becoming a Junior Project Manager at Niron Staal, he worked as a fitter and welder for five years where he gained the necessary knowledge in conducting large and complex steel constructions. In his current role as a Junior Project Manager, Brian knows exactly when and where he is needed.

He is responsible for projects conducted in the Niron Staal steel-shop, as the shop is divided into two different markets, steel and machining. One of Brian’s previous was the construction of two anti-rolling tanks, each weighing 75 tonnes. “The schedule for the construction of these structures was critical, but we were on top of it and made it to a success. The pre-fabrication part was completed within three weeks.”

Although Brian’s responsibilities include the planning, budget, quality control, and schedule of projects, he always takes the time to walk around the workshop. “The best thing about my job is to be in close contact with the workers and engage in such diverse surroundings, no one day is the same!” Having worked through a recruitment agency for a long time, Brian became employed by Niron Staal Amsterdam in August 2015.

With a true love for his job, Brian embraces the challenge of delivering to his clients. “Being involved from the very first contact with the client until the final handover challenges me to do my utmost.”
