Green refit constructions fabricated by Niron Staal can include Ballast Water Treatment Systems (BWTS), Srubbers and Bulbous Bows. Each system takes measures to reduce the ships emissions and improve its energy efficiency. It doesn’t stop there, any type of refit requiring structural adjustments or new steel compartments can utilize Niron Staal’s expertise and know-how to make its refit a success.

The cooperation between Damen Shiprepair Amsterdam (DSAm) and Niron Staal makes an excellent base for implementing and installing green refits. The fabrication and construction part is fully performed by Niron Staal, guaranteeing the highest quality and inspections. Whilst the installation and connecting phase of the refit is executed by the yard, ensuring the necessary production capacity and expertise for on-site installation and implementation within the agreed time.
